The Waterfront Plan Work Group was established pursuant to City Council Resolution 2467, adopted June 28, 2011. Its mission is: (a) to identify elements of the Waterfront Small Area Plan (SAP) for which there is agreement; (b) to clarify and define the positions on major SAP outstanding issues; and (c) to identify opportunities to narrow areas of differences. The Group was formed for a limited, but unspecific duration, with the goal of reporting back to the City Council in the fall on these items. More information regarding the SAP and Work Group is available at www.alexandriava.gov/Waterfront.
