Second Waterfront Plan Work Group Meeting Scheduled for Wednesday, August 10
The next meeting of the Waterfront Plan Work Group will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the City Council Workroom (Room 2410) at City Hall, 301 King Street. The Work Group’s first meeting was held on July 27, 2011. Meeting materials and a video of first meeting is now available online.
The Mayor appointed Waterfront Plan Work Group was established pursuant to a City Council action to: (a) identify areas of consensus under the draft Waterfront Small Area Plan; and (b) to identify, categorize and narrow differences on concerns that residents have raised. The Work Group is anticipated to report back to the City Council this fall.
Additional meeting dates and times will be discussed by the Work Group. All meetings are open to the public. Public comment is invited at the meetings and can also be submitted online through the Web page Comment Board.
