    News Release

    Alexandria, VAundefinedOctober 2, 2012
Kearney & Company Selected as CARE Award Winner for the Second Consecutive Year by the Northern Virginia Family Service

Kearney & Company was selected to again receive a CARE Award by the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS).  To be eligible for this award, companies must demonstrate a commitment to providing a workplace that caters to the needs of working families and improving the work/life balance so important to both families and employees.  The CARE Awards selection process has three main areas of focus: policies and benefits, ease of utilization, and company culture and philosophy.

The CARE Awards were developed in 1992 by NVFS and area business leaders with a desire to promote positive change in the workplaces of Northern Virginia.  The award is designed to encourage companies to institute family-friendly programs by exposing them to ideas and thoughtful discussions with business leaders who have already embraced such policies.  NVFS works to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of life and to promote community cooperation and support in responding to family needs.  NVFS is proud to extend its mission to the business community through the CARE Awards.
